Well, something else I have never heard of. I have really been in the dark ages.
I can see that this might be a useful tool in some instances. We might ask donors to comment on services, clients to comment on programming or volunteers to tell us about their experiences.
My concern would be around allowing someone the space to negatively rant on about what is wrong with people who are experiencing homelessness. I get enough anonymous messages left on my answering machine already without providing an open forum for it.

Keeping a close eye on what is being posted is a common thread through out Web 2.0. Unfortunately this often means more human time which translates to money.
Don’t forget though, that wikis do have a variety of security features. One basic way to maintain security is to have contributors sign up for an account so that if they post something negative you can block them. But as mentioned above, this does still require someone to closely monitor the wiki.
